ROBOTICS PROJECT

In Robotics group, we learn what components are used to make robots. Basic circuits and basic electricity in including wiring, testing components usinvoltmeters/ohmmeters(DVOM). We may also fabricate parts, take apart toys and see how they work, and recycle parts to make robots. We learn about gear trains and drive systems. We try to have a build(s) done for FAIR. We are going towards teaching computer programming for autonomous robots that can be programmed to perform tasks on their own, instead of being remotely controlled. Ages 8 and up. There will be a First Year Group to learn basic skills and an Advanced Group. Advanced Group junior leaders will be assisting other members in their builds.
